Day Mandala
On this diagram the zodiac signs are added to the wheel around the house. They are in their correct sequence according to the light and the dark and the colours of the trigrams. This challenges a tradition in astrology that the signs correspond by virtue to the number (Aries =1, Taurus=2, etc. When one considers the movement of the light and the dark, it becomes apparent that the Zodiac corresponds to the houses in a different direction. If one is measuring the light and the dark cycles, then this is the correct correspondence. Both cycles maintain the sequence of Fu Hsi.
